The Black Swan Analysis team are delighted to announce that their Senior Analyst, Christopher Bell, has been awarded the highly respected ‘Ian Burgess Award’ at the Annual British Healthcare Business Intelligence Association (BHBIA) conference in London. This award, presented annually, was in recognition of Christopher producing ‘the best One-Day Training Course’, voted by his peers in the Pharmaceutical Business Intelligence industry.
Some of the positive feedback from the delegates attending the forecasting training highlighted the teams ability to ‘explain everything very clearly and showing a strong expertise in this area’. The delegates also praised the Black Swan Analysis team on their ‘knowledgeability and approachability’ throughout the one-day forecasting course, making this challenging subject easier to understand and allow the materials to be integrated into their current work environment.
The award itself is in memory of Ian Burgess, who had a distinguished career in the healthcare industry and contributed many years during this time to the training of young pharmaceutical industry members.
The Black Swan Analysis team regularly provides forecasting training to healthcare professionals who require basic or advanced understanding of forecasting principles and best practice. The course involves hands-on manipulation of data in an Excel format, utilising industry best practice formulas to promote robust and evidence-based models. The team train analysts to do this in a fast, accurate and effective manner, adding value to their respective organisations.
The evening left the team in high spirits as they were very proud to be holders of such a prestigious and admired industry award.
All awards presented on the evening have been posted on the BHBIA website at the link below.
